Charitable work
As part of the Keycare culture we pride ourselves in many areas, but one area that is personal to the staff of Keycare is being able to share our financial success with those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
Keycare has supported many charities over the past 30 years but our support goes to two charities close to our hearts and specially nominated by our staff, Martin House and Little Heroes.

Yorkshire's first hospice for children and young people, Martin House provides care and support to families in which there is a child or children with a short life expectancy.
The ongoing day to day care of the child with a life limiting illness, which may go on for a number of years, can be a physical and emotional strain on the whole family. Martin House share with the families the care of the child.
The aim of Martin House is to provide a home from home with a lively, friendly atmosphere where children and their families can enjoy the best quality of life.
Martin House welcome all the family, giving them a break together or time to themselves in a comfortable, home from home atmosphere. It is a place of love and understanding, of fun, laughter and friendships - where they can have a full nights sleep and ''recharge their batteries''.
Although the care they provide is free to the families, it costs a great deal to run Martin House to the high standards they demand. The hospice has little access to public funds and relies almost entirely on charitable donations from individuals, charities, trusts, companies, organisations and the dedication and the enthusiastic support of many friends. Without their generosity and help they would not be able to continue to provide the much-needed special care to the children and their families.
Everyone at Keycare hopes the funds raised throughout the year will make a real difference in someone's life. To help Martin House to continue their care and find out about the many and varied ways in which you can help please visit their website. Without your help Martin House would not be able to do what it does best - provide holistic care and support to children and young people with life limiting illnesses, and to their families.
Little Heroes was set up in September 08 by Colin Nesbitt. Colin had spent over 265 days over the last year in hospital looking after his son Reece who had cancer. After seeing the heartache of children and families in the hospital he believes the best way to help is simply to make children smile.
Each child who has to have a bone marrow transplant has to spend 5 weeks in one room. His aim is to buy a toy for each week that child is in the hospital. The siblings are not forgotten - all brothers and sisters also get a toy as they are suffering just as much as the rest of the family, but usually in silence.
Colin is looking to get 1,000 businesses to donate £100 each. This money would be put to very good use and the business would get a link on the Little Heroes website www.littleheroes.org.uk.
