Try to be vigilant when you are out shopping, at the counter, in the street and at the ATM:
Prevention on the High St
Always take the bare minimum with you. Only take the plastic
cards that you will need, and don't carry your chequebook
with your cards.
At the ATM, look out for anything that looks different or
unfamiliar about the machine, and look out for anyone acting
suspiciously nearby. If you notice anything, use another cash
point.
When using a Chip & PIN card at the shop counter, make
sure no-one can see the PIN number you enter. NEVER give
out your number verbally and always enter the number yourself.
