Key Care FAQs

Can I purchase an extra key fob for a family member?
 
Yes, where residing at the same address as you.
Are all my keys covered?
 
You can attach your key fob to as many keys as you like e.g. car, house, garage, office and they will be covered up to 3 keys per lock. Cover is provided subject to your Keycare membership being in force at the time of loss and registered with Keycare Limited.
How many times a year can I make a claim?
 
You can make an unlimited number of claims up to the annual maximum limit per registered key fob.
How will my claim be paid?
 

AngelCare operates on a direct billing basis, where an approved locksmith is appointed by Keycare. You will not be required to make any up front costs for emergency locksmith assistance.

We will pay the locksmith direct. Where Keycare has authorised car hire use, you are required
to make payment. The receipt should then be submitted to Keycare for a refund. Public
transportation costs and taxi fares can be claimed in lieu of car hire. You must ensure that the
cost is reasonable and justified. You are required to make payment and then submit your receipt
to Keycare for a refund.

Do I need to pay the finder the £10 reward?
 
No. The reward will be sent directly by Keycare Limited to the person who found your keys.
